The below has to do with a good friend of mine who has always been there for me. Now it's my turn to be there for him.

So, I have this friend. His name is jgolbez. I'm sure most of you have met him at one point or another. You've probably met his cat, too. Little Bear. Chances are most of you have had an experience with him at one point or another. Here's a pic to jog your memory.



Little Bear's gettin' up there in age. Not decrepidly old or anything, but he needs some medication, some infections need to get taken care of. It's gonna cost a pinch of cash. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 800~1000 bucks. </a></b></a>jgolbez is all ready to pay for it, but the banks fucked him over hardcore. Without telling him.

So, long and short of it is, my friend doesn't have enough cash to cover his cat's medical bills. He would, in time, be able to pay it off fully. But the credit card companies stuck it to him, and time's kind of the essence when it comes to medical matters, as anyone would attest to, i'm sure. Anyway, I'll let Tim's post tell you the rest of the story.

The vet called, I have to pay $150/day for observation, and medication while they wait to see what options are available.

This is crazy, and it's against my better judgement, but I'm out of options. I won't be able to pay for any more care for him, it's already $150/day to keep him comfortable, the vet says we'll see how he is doing tomorrow and go from there. If it's $1000 like she says, I won't have a choice but to say no, it's money I dont have. Since so many of you expressed interest:
